On July 25, Holy Hooligan took to the runway for Fashion Furious: Tacoma Drift, hosted by the Tacoma Fashion Collective.
The show brought together the energy of street racing, early-2000s style, and Tacoma's growing fashion community—and it was the perfect setting for Holy Hooligan to put its own spin on the aesthetic. Rather than simply recreating the look of the era, Holy Hooligan approached the theme through its own lens: streetwear with attitude, unexpected combinations, and pieces designed to feel lived-in rather than overly polished. The collection played with contrasts. Graphic tees were paired with camouflage and unexpected proportions. Feminine silhouettes were mixed with utilitarian details, while accessories, chains, boots, and sneakers helped push each look further into the world of street fashion. For Holy Hooligan, that contrast is important.

The brand has always been interested in the space between classic style and rebellion—taking familiar pieces and giving them a little more edge. The collection leaned into camouflage, bold graphics, relaxed silhouettes, and unexpected styling—pieces that felt connected to the street while still carrying the personality of Holy Hooligan.
One of the standout looks paired a sample of the Red Star Service Tee with camouflage shorts, bringing a straightforward streetwear attitude to the runway.

Another look combined the Tenor Tee with a camouflage pleated skirt, creating a more layered take on the theme.
We also wanted to show that the Tacoma Drift aesthetic didn't have to be limited to traditionally masculine streetwear. A corduroy and camo skirt paired with an asymmetrical top brought a more fashion-forward and feminine interpretation to the collection while keeping the utilitarian edge of camouflage.
The result wasn't about perfectly matching every element. It was about attitude.
One of the things that made Tacoma Drift special was the environment itself. The runway moved beyond a traditional fashion-show setting and into the streets, surrounded by spectators and the cars that helped inspire the event. The setting gave the clothing a sense of movement and made the show feel connected to the culture it was celebrating. For an independent brand like Holy Hooligan, being part of events like this is about more than putting clothes on a runway. It's about being part of the community that makes Tacoma creative. The designers, models, photographers, artists, organizers, and audiences all contribute to an ecosystem that continues to grow—and we're proud to be part of it.
Fashion Furious: Tacoma Drift reminded us that a theme doesn't have to define a collection. It can be a starting point. Holy Hooligan took the visual language of street racing and 2000s fashion and filtered it through the personality of the brand. The result was playful, rebellious, and unmistakably Holy Hooligan. Thank you to the Tacoma Fashion Collective, the models, creatives, photographers, and everyone who came out to support the show.
We'll see you at the next one.
Holy Hooligan. Forever Genuine. Always Legit.
